Deaf Outdoor Adventures organizes outdoor recreation activities for Deaf and Hard of Hearing residents of the Bay Area and Northern California. Our monthly calendar includes group hikes on trails across Marin, the East Bay hills, and the Peninsula; seasonal camping trips to state and national parks; kayaking excursions on the Bay and nearby lakes; and winter snowshoeing outings in the Sierra. All activities are ASL-immersive, providing a peaceful and connected outdoor experience. We welcome all fitness levels and split groups by pace so nobody feels left behind. Gear-sharing and carpool coordination are organized through our online community.
