Deaf Tech Bay Area (DTBA) connects Deaf and Hard of Hearing professionals working in the Bay Area technology sector. We host quarterly networking mixers, technical talks by Deaf engineers and founders, resume workshops, and mock interview sessions — all conducted in ASL with CART captioning. Our membership includes software engineers, UX designers, data scientists, product managers, and startup founders at companies ranging from early-stage ventures to Fortune 500 firms. DTBA also maintains a job board curated for Deaf-friendly employers and runs an annual hackathon focused on accessibility technology.
